  1. Television

    CBS Sunday Morning · Discseel.com

As seen on CBS Sunday Morning

In this segment for CBS Sunday Morning, Dr. Kevin Pauza explains why his work with patients who failed to get relief from spinal fusion led him to develop the DISCSEEL Procedure, a treatment option that is forging a new path in neck and back pain relief.

Wording from Discseel.com, already used on this portal. Not labeled 60 Minutes. A separate 2012 CBS National News clip is listed below from Dr. Pauza’s Facebook page.

  2. Press release

    Feb. 2, 2026 · New York · PRWeb / PRNewswire-PRWeb

NYC Pain Management Doctors Introduce DISCSEEL® Procedure for Chronic Disc-Related Back Pain

SOURCE: Pain Management NYC. PRWeb 302673871

The release says interventional pain specialists Dr. Dmitriy Dvoskin, MD, and Dr. Boleslav Kosharskyy, MD, have completed advanced training to offer the DISCSEEL® Procedure in New York City.

Quoted from the PRWeb item Andrew supplied. This is not a new Center of Excellence on this portal. New York is not added to the city list. Fibrin on this portal remains an FDA-approved biologic used off-label in the disc — this page does not copy the release’s “FDA-cleared procedure” line.

  3. News interview

Sept. 29, 2023 · Federal News Network · Eric White / Federal Drive

VA and the Pentagon look to take advantage of a new spinal procedure for those injured in the line of duty

    federalnewsnetwork.com

Federal News Network reported that a contract awarded to Discseel® Technologies by the Veterans Affairs Department tasks the company with training physicians to perform a non-surgical spine procedure at Department of Defense and V.A. hospitals in the United States and overseas. The piece is an interview with Dr. Kevin Pauza, identified there as creator of the Discseel procedure and Chief Medical Adviser and Director of Discseel® Technologies. In the interview he says the VA and Department of Defense signed an agreement that allows him to train physicians and nursing staff, and that it pays for the procedure in full for any veteran or active or non-active member of the Department of Defense.

Quoted from the Federal News Network item Andrew supplied. This is reporting about a VA contract and an interview, not a promise that every VA hospital currently offers Discseel, and not a new Center of Excellence on this portal.

  4. Television / newswire

    June 21, 2022 · WAFB · Ivanhoe Newswire · Philadelphia

    Discseel: No spinal fusion needed

    wafb.com

WAFB ran an Ivanhoe Newswire story on the Discseel procedure as an option besides spinal fusion. It quotes triathlete Neil Bar, who the story says had an annular tear, and sports medicine specialist Brian Shiple, DO, who recommended Discseel. The story says fibrin is injected into the damaged disc and is used off-label to repair discs. It also states the procedure was not covered by insurance and, as of that 2022 report, cost between $14,500 and $15,500 out of pocket.

Quoted from the WAFB item Andrew supplied. Named patient and doctor are from that story, not a testimonial collected on this portal. Philadelphia is not added as a Center of Excellence here. The dollar range is what WAFB printed in 2022, not a price this portal quotes for intake.

  5. Television

    November 8, 2019 · FOX 17 / WZTV · Nashville · Kathleen Jacob

ADDICTED: Doctor performing ground-breaking procedure to treat back pain without opioids

    fox17.com

WZTV reported on the Discseel procedure as an option besides opioids. The story names Dr. Brandon Tolman and patient Rachel Sloan. It says Dr. Tolman injects fibrin into discs, which the station compared to “fix a flat,” and quotes him saying some of his patients had come off opioids. The story also said Discseel was not covered by insurance at that time.

Quoted from the FOX 17 item Andrew supplied. Named patient and doctor are from that 2019 story, not a testimonial collected on this portal. Nashville is not added as a Center of Excellence here. The “15 doctors nationwide” and “95% of Americans” lines stay in the original article; this portal does not repeat them as current facts.

  6. Television / Facebook

2012 · CBS National News · posted on Kevin Pauza MD

CBS National News feature, Dr. Kevin Pauza

    facebook.com/drkevinpauza

Dr. Kevin Pauza’s Facebook page posts this clip as a 2012 CBS National News feature of a non-invasive spine procedure. The page caption ties the clip to later Discseel Procedure work. It is not labeled 60 Minutes, and it is listed separately from the CBS Sunday Morning line already used on this site from Discseel.com.

Quoted from the Facebook post Andrew supplied. This portal does not repeat the caption’s “thousands of patients” line as a statistic, and it does not invent a 60 Minutes badge.

  7. Press release

    December 11, 2024 · PR Newswire · Dallas · SOURCE: Discseel Technologies

Exposing A National Spine Surgery Scandal: A Call for Change

    prnewswire.com

Discseel Technologies issued this release from Dallas. It cites a Lown Institute report on unnecessary Medicare spine surgeries and names Kevin Pauza MD of Texas Spine and Joint Hospital and the Pauza Spine Institute. The release describes the Discseel® Procedure as a non-surgical alternative and points to a Becker’s Spine write-up of a three-year study. It also mentions U.S. Veterans Administration and Department of Defense training, which this portal already covers from the Federal News Network item.

Quoted from the PR Newswire item Andrew supplied. Dollar figures, “every eight minutes,” hospital names, and safety comparisons in that release stay in the original. This portal does not repeat them as its own statistics, and it does not send visitors to Discseel.com.

  8. Television

    May 12, 2023 · Spectrum News 1 · Ohio

DOD, VA give green light for non-surgical spine training

    spectrumnews1.com

Spectrum News 1 reported that the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs awarded contract approval to Discseel Technologies so physicians can train on the Discseel Procedure. The story quotes Dr. Kevin Pauza, whom it calls chief medical adviser and director of Discseel Technologies, and Ohio physician Dr. Boris Terebuh. It describes fibrin used to seal disc cracks and notes the procedure is done in a physician’s office.

Quoted from the Spectrum News 1 item Andrew supplied. Ohio is not added as a Center of Excellence here. Patient counts, cost-savings percentages, and “only licensed physician in Ohio” stay in that story, not as this portal’s facts.

Quoted from the PR Newswire item Andrew supplied. Procedure counts and percent-improvement figures in that release stay in the original. This portal does not repeat them as its own statistics, and it does not send visitors to Discseel.com.
